Books at MHS--The attached list has the books in the library related to Shakespeare and literary analysis related to Othello (Seniors).

The following websites have resources specific to Shakespeare and Literature resources.

 

Shakespeare Resource Center:  Created in 1997 contains links to various Shakespeare related infromation.  URL:  http://www.bardweb.net/index.html

 

Online Literary Criticism: The Internet Public Library links to various Shakespearean criticism sites. Scroll down the list on the right for sites specific to different works.

 

Literature Resource Center:  Use your public library card to access this database of literary criticism, biographies and other articles related to all types of literature.  You must have a SANTA CLARA COUNTY library card to access this information.

 

Shmoop Literature:  This new website puts Spark Notes to shame (Ms. M's opinion).  Created and maintained by PHD students at major universities, Shmoop aims to "To make learning and writing more fun and relevant for students in the digital age." 

 

Voices of the Shuttle:  Created by the UC Santa Barbara English Department the site links to a wide variety of literature resources.  Type in Shakespeare in the search box to bring up everything they've collected. 

 

Shakespeare Pages:  This has not been kept up-to-date (last updated in 2004) but there are still some useful links to Shakespeare related websites. 

 

 Queen Elizabeth I:  Includes biographical information on Elizabeth I, but also includes information on women's roles and society.
